Welcome to St. Catherine's!
Greetings Saint Catherine's Community,
On Sunday we will have my last Annual Vestry Meeting as your Priest-in-Charge. While these meetings started out as 'not my favourite thing' on my Priest list of to-do's... over time we found a groove of forward moving conversations, discernment and decision making. Thank you for the journey together.
And this Sunday will be no different, we will gather for Morning Prayer, a light lunch, and discerning conversations.
Please prepare yourselves:
- mentally - see the links below,
- physically - get some good rest, and
- spiritually: pray for God to lead us and for your heart to be open to the Spirit's leading.
Here is a prayer that I use often by St. Therese of Lisieux:
May today there be peace within. May we trust God that we are exactly where we are meant to be. May we not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith. May we use those gifts that we have received, and pass on the love that has been given to us. Amen ____________
Presider and Preacher: Rev. Sharon Smith
Our Musician is Hyejung Jun and Choir The service will also be livestreamed. A copy of the bulletin is here: Sunday February 23, 2025 The Service livestream can be found here: St. Catherine's Website Services Page Previous livestreamed services, and sermon notes can be found here: |
