Our first refugee family has arrived!

Friday, January 15 - Martin Luther King Day - was extra special for members of REST (the Regional Eceumenical Sponsorship Team), who picked up our Syrian refugee family from Vancouver Airport.

Representatives from St. Catherine's, along with members from other sponsoring churches and supporters from Sutherland Secondary School, provided a warm welcome when the airplane landed, and their sentiments were enthusiastically returned by the grateful family of five.
