The flowers on the altar are given by Linda Robertson and Gordon Lee to the Glory of God and in memory of Laurie Norman who was a committed and
enthusiastic Anglican for one hundred years.
All ladies of the congregation are invited to the June meeting of the Women's Group on Tues., June 24 at 6:30 p.m. We will have a Potluck dinner at Bonnie Grundy's home at 568 Evergreen Place [off Delbrook Ave.]. There will be a sign-up sheet available after church Sunday, June 15, and June 22. The list will be left in the office during the week for anyone who doesn't have a chance to sign up at the Sunday services.

Laurie Norman passed away on June 2 at the age of 100 years young.
His service will be at St Catherine’s on Wednesday, June 25 at 2pm.
There will be a reception in the Hall following the service.
All parishioners are welcome to come and celebrate his life.
Evergreen Services: We will be conducting our worship service at Evergreen Care Facility at Lions Gate Hospital this Sunday at 4pm. We are always happy to have any support that we can get.

Healing Pathways -This is a ministry of prayer and healing. Do you feel anxious or worried about things? Are you suffering physically? Do you need a time of prayer and healing? Donations in Memory of Trish McMordie
The staff and families of Larson Elementary School and other friends and family of Trish McMordie have donated money for the purchase of books and furniture for the Children's area of the Lynn Valley Public Library. The presentation of the first piece of furniture, a Sit and Play Snake, will take place at 4:00 PM on Thursday, June 26th in the Children's area of the Lynn Valley Public Library. There will be story reading for kids and a reception following.

Canadian Red Cross Babysitting Courses
2014 Summer Program
Babysitting in a Day is an interactive and fun course that teaches youth aged 11 to 15 years the business of babysitting. Learn the responsibilities of a babysitter, how to get along and care for babies, toddlers, preschoolers and school-aged children, and how to handle emergencies and provide basic first aid. Cost: $55 (includes the Canadian Red Cross Babysitter’s Manual, Babysitter Wallet Card & Babysitter Wall Certificate). Course dates: Tuesday, July 8; Monday, July 14; Friday, July 25; Saturday, August 9; Monday, August 25; & Friday, August 29; 8:30 am – 4:30 pm @ St. Andrew’s United Church,1044 St. George’s Avenue and 10th Street in North Vancouver.
