Saint Andrews has temporarily paused their Emergency Food Program to provide temporary shelter for those in need in this cold weather. During this time, they are referring their clients to us for assistance.

To ensure we can support our neighbors in need, we are urgently seeking more volunteers. Your help will make a significant difference in providing essential food resources to those facing challenges in our community.

Whether you can spare a few hours or commit to a regular schedule, your involvement is crucial. Together, we can make sure that no one goes hungry during this challenging time.

Our Emergency Food Program happens every 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Mary Pellatt Room. Volunteers are required to arrive at 1 p.m. to prepare.

You may also donate most-requested food such as tomato or pasta, noodles, canned meat, jam, and cereal and drop them off at the lobby.

If you’re interested in volunteering, please reach out to Marymil at community_engagement@shaw.ca.Thank you for your support and dedication to our community!
