Rev. Laurel (they/them) is St. Catherine’s new assistant priest. They will be with us for a year filling in during Rev. Sharon’s study leave and offering additional pastoral support during the rest of the year. Rev. Laurel spent time at St. Catherine’s as a curate from 2012 to 2014 and is pleased to be back in the community. Laurel is also priest and founder of Salal + Cedar and ecological justice ministry in the diocese, they are an enthusiastic amateur nature photographer and occasional author.
