St. Catherine's welcomed Sharon as the Parish's Vicar on Sunday 1 July 2018. She was inducted by Archbishop Melissa Skelton at a service at St. Catherine's on Wednesday, 25th July 2018. Originally from South Africa, Sharon was until recently the Curate at St. Agnes, North Vancouver. She worked as an Occupational Therapist who has had and continues to have a career in counseling and OT serving others by promoting holistic wellness. Sharon has a PhD in Rehabilitation Sciences, focusing on Spirituality and Mental Health.
"I am grateful to be a priest among you at St Catherine's as we explore how to walk in the way of Christ in this time fraught with anxiety and loneliness. Together, we are learning to deepen the ways we drink from the deep well of Living Water, and to allow age-old spiritual practices to strengthen us. Laugh with me, weep with me, try and try again with me."
