Weekly Notices for February 21, 2016

Here's all the news you need for the week ahead...

1.       Vestry Reports and Tax Receipts: The 2015 Annual Report, 2016 proposed budget and 2015 contribution tax receipts will be available for pick-up this Sunday (Feb. 21st).

2.        World Day of Prayer: A service for the World Day of Prayer will take place at St. Catherine’s on Saturday, March 5 at 11:00am. This will be an ecumenical event with participants from the Anglican, Lutheran, Presbyterian Roman Catholic, Salvation Army and United Churches in North Vancouver.

3.       PWRDF Donations Update: The government of Canada has extended the deadline for matching funds for eligible donations to Canadian agencies working to provide relief to Syrians displaced within Syria and living as refugees in the surrounding countries to February 29, 2016.  For PWRDF updates and donation details visit http://pwrdf.org/donate

4.       Cookie Donations: Cookies donations for the Homeless Shelter may be dropped off in the kitchen by noon on Tuesday.

5.   Youth Event – Regional Youth Sleep-Over at St. Clements: Friday Feb. 26 6:00 p.m. through Saturday Feb. 27 11:00 a.m. Can our faith teach us to live with more meaning? Lynne McNaughton and Pastor Carolina Glauster will lead discussion. Cost:  $25 per person, includes dinner, snacks, breakfast, activities.
