The Nicolas Krusek string ensemble formed a year ago when a small group of musicians missed the opportunity of playing together during Covid times. Initially, we rehearsed outside with an occasional neighborhood performance, then as restrictions lifted, we moved our rehearsals inside, finding space in the basement of St. Catherine’s Anglican Church, Edgemont village. As a multigenerational group with diverse backgrounds and experience, we share a love of music and education. On October 6, we will be offering an afternoon performance of a selection of minuets and dances by Austrian composer Joseph Hyden in the sanctuary of St. Agnes church. This is a free performance for our friends and family, and we would like to extend this invitation to members of the St. Catherine’s community and any guests they wish to bring.
