Plucky Parish Councillors take ice bucket challenge!

Thanks to a challenge sent our way by Highlands United Church, we didn't escape this year's fundraising craze - the Ice Bucket Challenge, a quirky campaign to raise money for ALS research. 

Some of our Parish Council members were brave enough to be doused with buckets of ice water just before this month's meeting began. (Watch the video, below!) Other council members cheering from the sidelines made sure to reach into their wallets to make up for their reticence to get wet!
