Outdoor Eucharist

As part of our regional ministry, on a very rainy Saturday twelve Anglicans from four parishes met at Rice Lake for a contemplative Eucharist. We walked in the woods by the water and as we prayed "Holy, Holy, Holy" we raised our voices with all the species in this watershed that praise our creating God in this place... Orcas, Salmon, Cedar, Fern, Salal, Raven.

We won’t save a place we don’t love;
we can’t love a place we don’t know; 
and we can’t know a place we haven’t learned.
