On October 31st, Edgemont Village organized a Halloween event. The streets were filled with excited children dressed in an array of spooky and fun costumes, eagerly going from door to door, collecting their sweet rewards.
Rev. Sharon, and Marymil together with Ashkon who dressed up as Santa Claus. set up a booth adorned with bowls of treats, cute scarecrows and lanterns glowing ominously on the sidewalk in front of the church. The moon shone brightly overhead, casting a mystical glow on the festivities below.
Children, accompanied by their guardian visited the booth and joyfully shout the famous phrase, "Trick or Treat!" Dogs were there, too, to say hi.
The community spirit was palpable as neighbors greeted each other, exchanging compliments on costumes and sharing stories of past Halloweens. It was a night where strangers became friends, brought together by the joy of the occasion.
Trick or Treats was indeed successful, bringing joy, laughter, and a sense of community to all who participated. It was a night filled with excitement, surprises, and of course, plenty of delicious treats. Until next year, when the tradition would continue, Halloween would be remembered as a truly magical night for all.
