As we journey through the sacred season of Lent and anticipate the profound journey of Holy Week, we would like to share some of our schedule of events and services. Mark your calendars, or save the date through our Event Page and invite friends and family to share in the joy and solemnity of Holy Week. Let us come together to deepen our faith, express gratitude for the gift of salvation, and rejoice in the resurrection of our Lord.
May this Holy Week be a time of spiritual renewal and blessings for all.

MAUNDY THURSDAY

GOOD FRIDAY: SERVICE AT 10AM
ART EXHIBIT: AN ARTIST'S JOURNEY OF JUSTICE TO EASTER AT 11AM TO 5PM
The tone is solemn as we draw parallels between the suffering of Jesus and suffering in the world around us, and we ask how we might live differently. The service will transition to a time of contemplation on Adolfo Pérez Esquivel’s Stations of the Cross.
The art exhibit of Argentinian sculptor and architect Adolfo Pérez Esquivel will guide our walk of the stations of the cross this year. The paintings incorporated the Stations of the Cross and Liberation Theology. Liberation theology is a Christian theological approach to the Gospel emphasizing the liberation of the oppressed. It engages in socio-economic analyses, with social concern for the poor and political liberation for oppressed peoples, and addresses other forms of inequality, such as race or caste. The prints of the original art will be on display at the church from 11 am to 5pm. Event by donation.
HOLY SATURDAY
MARCH 30, 7PM TO 8PM
Join us outdoors on St. Catherine's grounds, for a fireside gathering from 7pm to 8pm.
Traditionally, the church kindles a fire in the darkness of Holy Saturday as a sign of hope and light in dark times. From the New Fire the Resurrection candle is lit. At 7:30 pm we will light our candle and offer a prayer. Hot chocolate will be served.
EASTER SUNDAY
MARCH 31, 10AM
On Easter Sunday, we gether for a traditional service at 10 am with trumpet and organ to celebrate Christ's resurrection, new life and hope. There will be an Easter egg hunt and hot cross buns will be served in the lobby at the close of the service.
