Holy Week Gatherings at St Catherine's

On Good Friday, 65 people walked the Way of the Cross, savouring the original artwork of Chris Woods. Many came because of an advert in the North Shore News. Rev. Sharon had the privilege of offering a blessing to each person as they completed their walk at Station 14.

Traditionally the church kindles a fire in the darkness of Holy Saturday as a sign of hope and light in dark times. From this New Fire the Resurrection candle is lit. 17 of us gathered on the Ridgewood Patio for a fire. We lit the Paschal/Resurrection/Easter candle with the words: "The Light of Christ".
