“Watch & Pray” Saturday April 1 at 9:30 am – 1 pm
A day of quiet to prepare for Holy Week. We gather for prayer in the stillness of the sanctuary. A labyrinth is available for use during this time. Hosted by the Spiritual Practice Group. More information here: LINK TO EVENT
“Palms & Passion” Sunday April 2 at 10 – 11:30 am
On this Soul Food Sunday, we will gather with strangers and friends around the breakfast table to retell the story of Christ’s passion, and lay palm branches in anticipation. More information here: LINK TO EVENT
“Holy Days for Reflection” Monday April 3, Tuesday April 4, Wednesday April 5
The church is open for prayer from 4-6 pm, Rev. Sharon is available in the chapel for prayer and anointing of oil. Please email the church to reserve a time. At 8 pm we gather on Zoom for Evening Prayer, by St. Catherine’s members.
“Maundy Thursday” Thursday April 6 at 6 pm
Following a simple supper in the church we enter into Christ’s experience of betrayal and death through liturgy and action. LINK TO EVENT
“Stations of Earth” Good Friday, April 7 between 10 am - 4 pm
Three St. Catherine’s artists depict the ‘body’ of Earth. Reflecting on the four elements of Air, Water, Stone and Fire, we remember the compassion and grace with which Christ spoke the final words from the cross, and we lament the broken earth. LINK TO EVENT
“Holy Saturday Fireside” Saturday, April 8 at 7 pm
An outdoor fireside gathering with hot chocolate and smores from 7 to 8:30 pm. Traditionally the church kindles a fire in the darkness of Holy Saturday as a sign of hope and light in dark times. From this New Fire the Resurrection candle is lit. LINK TO EVENT
