Animal Blessings 2024

In honor of St. Francis of Assisi, the beloved patron saint of animals and the environment, our neighbours and their pets gathered for a heartwarming celebration of unity and compassion—an annual Animal Blessing Ceremony.

Held in front of Thrifty's, this special day brought together neighbors, families, and their beloved pets to receive blessings and honor the spirit of St. Francis, who preached kindness and care for all living beings.

The event was a sight to behold, as cats, and dogs made their way to the gathering, lovingly held by their furrparents. The atmosphere was filled with joy and reverence, as Rev. Laurel led prayers, sprinkling holy water on the animals as a symbol of protection and well-being.

Each blessing served as a reminder of the interconnectedness between humans, animals, and nature.
