We are thrilled to announce a new partnership with the North Shore Crisis Services Society! This collaboration marks a significant step forward in our mission to support and uplift our community. The North Shore Women’s Centre has long been a pillar of empowerment, providing vital resources and services to women in the North Shore. Through this partnership, we aim to strengthen our shared goals and create more opportunities for growth and connection.

As part of this exciting collaboration, we have been invited to participate in its Night Light Walk, to raise awareness and funding for North Shore Crisis Services Society's Second Stage Housing program.

The walk starts at 6:15 p.m. at Highlands Elementary School where we will gather to hear inspiring stories before we head out to walk a lantern-lit route lighting the way for women and children experiencing domestic violence in our community. The night's activities will also feature coffee and espresso, a light snack after the walk, Face Painting, and a clown/balloon artist.

All participants receive a Royal LePage Shelter Foundation Night Light Walk Knit Hat and LED bracelet.

Everyone is encouraged to join us in attending this campaign and showing our support for this incredible organization. With our support, we can help light the way forward for so many women and children who are ready to take their first brave steps away from violence.

Let Marymil know at community_engagement@shaw.ca, if you want to participate so we can sign up together as a team.
